Run prize competitions for your own racers, and enter them in a national series across every participating ShiftOS venue, where the prize pool grows with the grid. Compete is U.S. only. Paid contests are 18+ and availability varies by state.
Compete is one competition programme running across ShiftOS venues around the country. Your racers pay to enter, the entries fund a prize purse, and the purse pays out to the racers who win. You run all of it from the dashboard you already run your venue from.
It exists to raise the stakes. A racer with something riding on a lap drives differently, stays longer, and comes back to beat their own time before the board closes. The programme is built to turn a single visit into a season of them: a calendar worth returning for, and a reason to care about a lap time beyond bragging rights.
Racers enter at your venue and their times count on a board shared with every participating venue, so the purse is funded by entries from across the network rather than out of your till.
Create cash prize competitions for your own racers, from the same admin panel you use to set up a leaderboard.
We run a national series of competitions across every Compete venue in the country, and it appears on your boards automatically.
Both tiers use the same racer account. A racer verifies once with Lucra on their own phone, pays entries from their Lucra wallet and receives any winnings there. Entry money never passes through your till or your Stripe account.

1:24What four venues contribute to a single monthly competition, what twelve contribute, and why the purse grows with the grid rather than with any one venue.
Compete runs to a published calendar. There is something to enter every month, a championship that runs across all of it, and a handful of marquee events through the year. As more venues join, regional rounds run alongside the network-wide board so racers are also racing venues near them.
One car, one circuit, one month. The combination changes at the start of each month and the board stays open for the whole of it, so a racer can keep coming back to improve their time before it closes. No registration, no team to find and no fixed night to attend. It is the lowest-friction way into the programme.
Every challenge awards championship points, and points run a long way down the order rather than stopping at the podium. A racer who enters everything and finishes mid-field regularly out-scores a quicker racer who enters occasionally. That is the design: the championship is what turns one visit into a season of them, and it gives a racer a reason to come back for the next round instead of treating each challenge as a one-off.
A small number of larger events sit on top of the monthly rhythm, timed to the weekends when the motorsport calendar has your venue busy anyway. Endurance formats run as teams, so a venue can field a crew rather than rely on one quick driver. These are the dates worth putting local promotion behind.
The programme above is indicative. The confirmed calendar, formats and entry fees are published at launch.
Venues that sign up by 31 December 2026 get their first three months of service credited from the day Compete goes live at their venue, so you can see what it draws from your racers before you pay. If you are new to ShiftOS, Operate and Launch are credited too and we do the setup. See the founding offer.
